[..] ith Thomas Dixon< no role > the Parish Bradle
this Deponent sent for a Shell and helped
to put the deceased into it and two of the Parish
Officers took his [..] to the Bone house
belonging to the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square situate in South Audlby Street
and further this Deponent sayeth not,

Geo: Rhodes< no role >

John Whale< no role > Quarter Master in the frist Ryiml
of Life Guards being soon deporeth that about
ten o'Clock Yesterday Morning as he was
walking by the Side of the Serpentine River
in Hyde Park he saw two Gentleman looking
at something on the Surface of the said
River and this Deponent then thought he saw
the heard of a Person on the Surface of the
River and he waited about ten Minutes by
the River Side until George Rhodes< no role > came
up to him whom he desired to go into the River
and see what it [..] was, which he did and
he brought the deceased to Shore and this
Deponent in the presence of the said two
Gentleman desired the said George Rhodes< no role > to
search the Pockets of the deceased which he
did and found [..] therein one Keys and some half
pencein one Pocket used in the otherone
and & Letter which was so obliterated
that
that they could not till what had [..]
written therein, and this Deponent [..]
Rhodes to take of the Money and [..]
the Body until the [..] [..] keeper [..]
whom he would send, and this [..]
went to the [..] Gate keeper and told [..]
to go to the River Side where the deceased
lay and then the (this Deponent) went
about his own business

being sworn deporeth that, about 9 o'Clock
on Friday morning last (the 8th. Instt) th [..]
deceased came to him for some Money for [..]
Sugar whereupon he gave her a Guinea [..]
told his to yet it charged as he had [..]
Silver, and this Deponent sayeth that [..]
returned soon afterwards but did not [..]
him any Silver in charge of the Guinea
and asked him what he would have for
Dinner, he answer'd [..] Pear & Bacon which
she got and he told her to have the Dinner
ready by 3 o'Clock and he came [..]
o'Clock and [..] the Bell but nobody [..]
it, upon which he went down Stairs in [..]
