the Wife immediately took the said James
Barter out of his hand from afterwards
carried wth a Hence in little 2d. Januy
that & further this Dept, cannot depose

Sworn Saith thaton Thursday
last the said James Barter< no role > was
brot. to this Depts. House by the Mother
She said it had been on a Slupe [..]
State for some time past. that a Dog
of Mr Will, had laid hold of it by the
Car & dashed it to the ground this
Dept. examd. the Car of the Deced & did
not find any Appearance of Manks
of that Naturethis Dept. then examin'd
the Deced Mindley but did not perceive
any external Bruisesbut from Symptom
which then appeared, this Dept. was of
opinion the Brain was injured
this Dept. saw the Deced the next day
& it then and altered greatly to the
worstfurther this Deponent cannot
say. the Infant died

Verdict
that James Barter< no role > was accidentally
Killed by being knocked down. by
a large Dog belonging to the Willis
on Thursday the 30th. August 1793 .
