Informations taken this Twenty eighth
day of August 1781 at the Parish of St.
John the Evangelist within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of William Parsons< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Hannah Hubeat< no role > of little Abingdon Street in
the Parish of St. John the Evangelist Westmr. Widow
on her Oath saith that William Parsons< no role > the Deced
has Worked about one Year & an half
last past with this Dept. in the Coal Trade, That
he was careful and for the most part a Sober
Man, That last Night about half hour after
Eight o'Clock Dept. saw Deced coming up her
Yard appearing to be in Liquor, That he went
into Dept. House to have his Leg Dressed by
Dept. That Deced told her that he had words
with his Fellow Servant and that he would
go home with out going to the Chequers
That he went away and in about half
an hour Dept. Saw the Deced go down her Yard
again towards the Thomas, That the called
out but Deced made no Answer, but on
her Daughter asking who was there, Deced
said, Parsons. Says that she went to the
Water side in about half an hour and saw a Man, (whom she
believes to be the Deced.) upon one of the Barge
but Dept. did not see him fall or throw himself
into the Water, the he disappeared Says
that she saw no Person go with the Deced to
the Water side,
