Jermyn Street
, an his Oath saith, That on Wednesday Night last
between Eleven & twelve O'Clock, Deponent was going to Mr.
Townshend Chymist
in the Hay Market
to see for his Master
and saw the Deced leaning against a Woodlen Rails
before a House at the East End of Jermyn Street
, whom
Deponent then immagined to be Drunk, Says that on
Deponent's Return from Mr. Townshend in about a Quarter
of an hour, he was Deced lying in the Channel before the
House where Deced stood before, Says that he immediately
called the Watchman who came there, says that Mr
Sisum was coming along, and that Deponent called to
him to take care, Adding that a Dead Man, or a Man
Dead Drunk lay there, Says that Mr. Sisum the Watchman
and Deponent took up the Deced and put his Back against
a Door but Deced was motionless, and Depont. believes
that he was Dead before he was taken out of the Channel

who came, and endcavoured to Bleed the Deced, but
the Deced did not Bleed. and said George Rutherford< no role >
said that the deced was Dead Says that Mr. Clarkson a Constable
of St. James's Parish
, and one of the Beadles were fetched
there, and Deponent was informed that the Deced
was afterwards carried away by their Order.
