THE Examination of Elizabeth Duncan< no role > Widow
of Peter Duncan< no role > , a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehendedby
in the ParishofSt George Hanr. Square in the
Liberty of Westminster and brought before me one
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the Liberty
aforesaid, And taken before
me this 9th. Day of September
in the Year of our Lord 1767 This Examinant on her
Oath saith That her said husband was a
Scotchman & never gained any Settlement
in England This Examt. when a Singlewoman
lived upwards of a year in the Service of
Lord Cowper, hat £7 a year wages, that
the last 6 months of her said Service was
at Colegreen in the Parish of Hartingford true
in Herts, where she was discharged and
has not since lived a year in any other
nor Rented a house
