THE Examination of Thomas North< no role > Singleman
Aged 34 Years a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehendedby Thos. [..]
in the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
in the Liberty of Westminster and brought before me one
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the said City and
Liberty of Westminster aforesaid. And taken before
me this 6th. Day of November

in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred
and Sixty Seven This Examt. On his Oath saith
he lived with Mr Hughes at the Crown Inn [..]
in the Parish of Saint Giles at Reading in the County of Berksh.
One whole year and upwards and had £ 5 a year
That since learning the same Service which is five years
ago and upwards he has not lived in any other or
Rented any House & That being distress he was
apprehended in the Parish of Saint George aforesaid
a begging
