Be it Remembred That at the General
Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden where the Court of
Exchequer is usually hold at Westminster in and for the Liberty of the Dean and
Chapter of the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter Westmr. the City Borough and Town of
Westmr. in the County of Middlesex and Saint Martin le Grand London on Thursday the
Eleventh Day of January in the Twenty third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord< no role >
George the Second King of Great Britain etc before Henry Fielding< no role > George Payne< no role >
James Fraser< no role > This name instance is in set 3480. Barwell Smith< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our said
Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the Liberty aforesaid and Saint Martin
le Grand London and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdeeds committed in the same Liberty by the Oath of John Bromley< no role > Gent James

City and Liberty of Westmr . then and there sworn and charged to enquire for our said
Lord the King for the Body of the said City and Liberty It is Presented in Manner
and Town as followeth (to wit) City Borough and Town of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex The Jurors for our Lord the King upon their Oath present That on the
Eleventh Day of October in the Twenty third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord< no role >
George the Second King of Great Britain etc at the Parish of Saint James within the
Liberty of Westmr. and within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate
Church of Saint Peter Westmr. the City Borough and Town of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex and Saith Martin Le Grand London Henry Front Esquire then and still
is One of the Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the
said Liberty and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
misdeeds done and committed in the said Liberty in due Town of Law did make a
certain Warrant in writing under his Hand and Seal bearing Date the Same Day
and Your above mentioned directed to all Constables and other Officers of the
peace of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty whom the said
Warrant should contain commanding them and every of them on the part of our
said Lord the King that upon Sight of the same Warrant to take and being before
the said Henry Front or same other Justices of the peace of our said Lord the King
for the said City and Liberty the Body of Joseph Davis< no role > of when they should have
Notice to answer to all such Matters and Fittings as on the part of our said Lord
the King should be objected against him on Oath by James Forcester for Assaulting
him and striking him in the Face in Breach of the peace which said Warrant
afterwards to wit on the Twenty Sixth Day of December in the Year aforesaid at
the said Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westmr in the said Liberty
