To the High Constable Petty Constables & all others his Majesty< no role > [..] Ministers
the Peace of the City & Liberty of Westmr. and all others whom these may concern
& to the Keeper of the House of Correction at Tothill feilds Bridewell

Whereas Thomas Carter< no role > has been legally Convicted before us Two of his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace for the Liberty of the Dean & Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St.
Peter Westmr. the City Borough and Town of Westmr. in the County of Middx & St. Martin le
grand London Upon the Oaths of James Prior< no role > & George Quait< no role > for keeping a Comon Alehouse
in the Parish of St.Mary Le Strand Paul Covent Garden & publickly Selling & Uttering SpiritousLiquors not
being lawfully Licensed by two of his Majestys Justices of the peace of the sd. Liberty
against the form of the Statute in such Case made & Provided the same being the Second
Conviction

a Lycence if the party

These are therefore in his Majestys Name to Will & require you and every one
of you the sd. Constables on Sight hereof to take & apprehend the Body of the sd. Thomas Carter< no role >
& safely to Convey & Carry the sd. Thomas Carter< no role > to the House of Correction at Tothill feilds
& him safely deliver to the said Keeper of the said House of Correction And you the said
Keeper of the said House of Correction is hereby required to receive into your Custody the
Body of the said Thomas Carter< no role > and him safely keep to hard Labour for the space of One
Month from the date hereof to be dealt with all as an Idle lend & disorderly person and at
the Expiration of the said Months Imprisonment to hard Labour You are to discharge him
out of the said House of Correction for which this shall be every one of your sufficient
Warrant for so doing Given under our Hands & Seals this Seventeenth day of December
1744.

concern

Whereas Etc as above

These are Etc apprehend the Body of the sd H & being him
before us or one of us or any others of his majties Justices of the Peace for the
sd L in order that the sd CC should be sent to the Its of C for the sd
Liberty to hard Labour for the Space of one month and to be dealt
with all as an Idle lewd & disorderly Pson pursuant to the Statute
in such Case made & to be dealt to the & according to Law and
this shall be yor Sufficient Warrt for so doing Given under our
