City and Liberty
of Westminster } to wit.


To the Constable of the Parish of St. Margaret in ye City of Westmr
in the County of Middlesex and also to the Governor or Master
of the House of Correction at [..] Tothill Fields in and
for the said [..] City; and likewise of tall Governors or Master
of all Houses of Correction, whom it may concern, to receive
and convey; and to all Constable and other officer within
that Part of Great-Britain, called Scotland , whom it may
concern, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Ann Flew Wife of David Flew< no role > with her three
Children , John, Mary, and Diana, the lawfull Issue
of the said David Flew was
apprehended in the said parish of St. Margaret Westmr. there
Woundring and begging
asRogueaandVagabond and brought before Me One of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices
of the Peace in and for the saidcountyof City & Liberty and upon Examination of
the said Ann Flew< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, it doth appear, that she is a Rogue
and
Vagabond within the true Intent and Meaning of the Statute in that Case
made and provided; and that her last legal Settlement is at the Parish or Place of
Collinabine in the Shire of Bamff in that Part of
Great-Britain called Scotland : where her said Husband served his
Apprentiship .

THESE are therefore to require you the said Constable of the said Parish
of St. Margaret Westmr . to convey the said Ann Flew< no role > and her three
Children John Mary< no role > & Diana
to the said House of Correction atthe Town of Tothill Fields aforesaid: And you the
said Governor or Master of the said House of Correction , to receive the said
Vagrant & her three Children into your Custody, and them to convey
or cause to be conveyed to the House of Correction at the Town of St. Albans
in the County of Hertford being the first House of
Correction in the next County, in the direct Way to Collinabine
aforesaid; and in like Manner every other Governor or Master of every House of
Correction to whom it may belong, to convey the said Ann Flew< no role > and her
said three Children John Mary< no role > & Diana
from House of Correction to /house of Correction , until they
shall arrive at the House of Correction belonging to the
Town no Newcastle upon Tyne in the County of Northumberland and the Master or
Governor of the said House of Correction last mentioned, to convey, or cause
to be conveyed the said Ann Flew< no role > & her said three Children into the next
adjoining Shire, Stewartry, or Place in that Part of Great-Britain called Scotland ,
and to deliver them to some Constable or other Officer of
the next Parish, District, or Place within the said Shire, Stewartry, or Place;
and such Officer is hereby required to receive the said Persons and dispose of
them according to Law.

in the Year of our LORD One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty two.
