The Examination of Mary William< no role > taken upon
Oath this 6th. of June 1741.

Who saith she was Marryed to John Williams< no role > (who
is now a Soldier in Cold Mordaunts Merchant
Regiment of Foot at, Glascow in Scotland ) at the Hand
and Pen in the Fleet London on the 7th. Day of April
which was in the Year 1740 by whom She hathone
a Child now living Named John< no role > Aged upwards of
Five Weeks and this Deponent further saith that
her said Husband was born in the Parish or Place
of Ponta Peal in Monmouthshire where his late
Father Lewis Williams< no role > & Mother Judith lived and
Rented a Great Farm, & she further saith her said
Husbands Mother still lives and keeps the Farmin
Ponta Peal aforesd. & that her said Husband never was
in Apprentice where he was a Yearly hired Servt.
she cannot tell nor waske a Housekeeper And this
Depont. further saith not
