Whereas Hester [..] a Single Woman [..]
a female Bastard Child named Sarah in the Hamblet
within the parish of Stepney and county of Middx which he [..]
likely to continue chargeable to ye Inhabitant of ye said Hand
Wee two of his Majties: Justices of the Peace of the County aforesaid [..]
and both resideing in or next the him to of the parish Church [..]
where the said Bastard child was borne Having upon the Company [..]
Churchwardens and Overseeres of the Poore of the Hamblet about [..]
upon us the heareing and examinacon of the said Cau [..]
of the said [..] upon oath and divers other circumstance
proofes that John Dupar< no role > of the Hamlet of Spittle fields in the
Stepney Weaver is the reputed Father of the said Child Where [..]
Order and Adjudge him the said John Dupeere to be the reputed
said Bastard Child, And we do further Order that the said reputed [..]
shall within Six dayes' next after notice given unto him of this and
cause to be paid to the Hands of the Overseers of the Poore of the [..]
aforesaid or to one of them the sume of Two pound [..]
English money towards the money by them disbursed (before [..]
for and towards the charges of the keeping of the said Bastard Child [..]
of the birth thereof untill the time of giveing the said notice and [..]
expences at the lying in of the said Hester Manake And shall
every weeke from and after such notice so long as the Child [..]
to the said Hamblet, pay or [..] paid unto the Overseers [..]
the said Hamblet of Spitlefields for the time being or some or [..]
sume of two Shillings Six pence of like money for and towards the [..]
and Educacon of the said Bastard Child And lastly wee do Ordered [..]
said John Dupeer< no role > do become bound with sufficient Suretyes [..]
Pounds unto the present Overseers of the Poor of the Han [..]
aforesaid well and truely to performe this our Order Given [..]
