These are to Certifie thair maties. Justices of the peace
for the Citty & Liberty of Westm That wee the
Overseers of the poore of the Pish of St. Martins with
feilds: caused Thomas Kickingman< no role > of the Pish of St.
Clements Danes to be bound in Recognizance to
appeare and Answer at the last Genll. quarter Sessions
at Westm for getting a Bastard Child on the Body
of Mary Bermett and layd to him as Reputed a
father and like to have come a Charge to our
Pish: since wch. tyme the said Thomas Richd< no role >
man hath taken Care for the Said Child and
hath Indeminfied our Pish: Whereupon wee
humbly Desire the might be discharged from the
Said Recognizance: In Wittness whereoff wee
have hereunto Sett our hands this Eleventh day
of Aprill Arme dom 1693
