being deceased We (be virtue of a Power granted to us by the
last Annual General Court) have chosen Martha Burchett< no role >
to be Cook in her room

The Governors of this Hospital
being possessed of Two Farmes at Sabridgeworth in Hertfordshire
devised to them by Mrs. Elizabeth Palmer< no role > in Trust to be applied
for the Release of poor Prisoners for Debt And a small Tenemt.
& about 30ofAcres of Land part of the said Farmes being Copyhold
on Arbitrary Fines We thought it proper to purchase the Enfran
chisement of the said Copyhold part of Ralph Freeman< no role > Esqr . Lord
of the Manours of which the said Premisses were held and paid
for the same £173..17..2 which Sum is to be repaid the Hospital out
of the growing Rents of the said Farmes.

The Auditors of this Hospital having Audited
and Examined the Cash Account of the late Mr. Treasurer
Joye The Ballance remaining in his hands at his Death
was found to be £4622..19..11½ whereof £1700 had been vested
in East India Bonds by the said Mr. Treasurer Joye for the
Benefit of the Hospital And the said Ballance was paid and
delivered by his Exter James Joye< no role > Esqr . to Samuel Lesingham< no role > Esqr .
the present Treasurer of this Hospital.

The Receiver House repair'd
for Mr. Green appointed
Receiver


We have directed that the House lately inhabited by
Mr. Richard Kettleby< no role > deced the late Receiver , be repaired
for Mr. George Green< no role > whom. Mr. Treasurer has appointed his
Receiver and he to have the same Allowances of Coals Beer Etc.
as were allowed to the said Mr. Kettleby. And We have
appointed John Wright< no role > to be Assistant in the Compting house
in the room of the said Mr. George Green< no role >

We have let the four new Houses above St. Thomas's
Church to Edward Davis< no role > Thomas Barnes< no role > Andw Hutchins< no role >
& Charles Twells< no role > respectively as Tenants at will at £18 P ann Rent.
