The Minutes of the last General Court
held the Seventeenth of August last were read and approved.

The Lord Mayor was pleased to recommend
to the Court Subscriptions for the benefit of this Charity and
thereupon the Clerk attended all the Governors present with the
Subscription Book and there was subscribed as follows

By the Rt. Honble. the Lord mayor an addl. Gift £50..-
Sr. John Eyles< no role > Bart . President 100..-
Mr. Alderman Parsons50..-
Denham Hammond< no role > Esqr .50..-

His Lordship then acquainted this Court that
the immediate Occasion of calling the same was to choose a Treasurer
in the room of Charles Joye< no role > Esqr . the late Treasurer deceased.

It being moved that Samuel Lesingham< no role > Esqr . be elected
Treasurer of this Hospital

Resolved Unanimously

Samuel Lesingham Esqr.
chosen Treasurer in the room
of Charles Joye Esqr. deced


That Samuel Lesingham Esqr.
be chosen Treasurer of this Hospital in the room of Charles
Joye Esqr. deceased.

Mr: Lesingham being pleased to accept the said
Office It was resolved That the Thanks of this Court
be given Him for such his acceptance of the said Office and my
Lord Mayor gave him the Thanks of this Court accordingly.

There being a Vacancy of a Standing Auditor by
the Election of the present Treasurer who was one of the stand-
ing Auditors.

James Ruck< no role > Esqr . was unanimously chosen
to be a Standing Auditor in the room of the present Treasr.
