which expired at Lady Day 1697
for the term of 51 years at the rent & Fine & under a special Covenant
therein menconed but the said Mr. Corbin paid no part of the Fine
and soon after the said grant absconded and went into parts
beyond the seas whereby we have been forced to Cuter on the
premisses and make the best we could of them not finding one to
take a Lease of them on any reasonable formes in our judgement

and Twenty Guineas to be paid for a Fine or incomb at the Sealing of
the Lease and to be bound by Covenant to layout six hundred pound
at least in New building in seven years time next after the comencement
of the said Leas and with such other Covenants as are contained
the last Expired Lease otherwise then as to building

Walls scotts parish duties an all other charges & scots whatsover
which he is to be bound to bear and pay and also discharge the
Office of expenditor for the said Lands when and as often as it
shall be laid on the house in respect of the said Lands dureing
the said term and to be found by Covenant not to plow any of the
said Lands dureing the said terme upon penalty of the payment
of three pounds per Anum for every acre so pleasd (without Lud

Over and above the said yearly rent of Twelve pounds and so
proporconably and with such ohter Covenants for repaires and
payment of the rent as are usual.
