Which Report being read and considered was allowed and
a proved by this Court and Ordered it to bee entred among the Acts
of this Court and observed in all points accordingly

And it is referred to the Comittee to consider how and where
two roomes may bee most conveniently erected one for a wth: drawing
roome or Parlor neare the Hall of the house, And another for a
Ward that may receive as manie or more bedds then are lost out
of some of the Wards by adding a parte of those Wards to the
ground of the said late shopps and houses for the makeing of
other larger and convenient new houses as is declared in the said
Reporte, A Scheme or Draft of a Front is peice to bee made of
Purbeck stone before the Front of our Hospitall to the High-
-streete which had bin prepared by direccon of the said
Comittee containing Pillars, And the Kings armes; And
the Effigies of King Edward< no role > the Sixth; And Fower cripples
to bee carved in stone was approved of And Ordered to bee made
accordingly And it is further Ordered That Mr: Thomas
Cartwright
< no role > Mason being the person that made the draft
shalbee imploied in the performance of the Worke who being
demanded his price said Hee could not doe it well for lesse then
£190 but if the Court after hee had done the same should Judge
hee did not deserve it hee would referr and submitt himselfe to this
Court what hee should have for it

And the said Comittee are alsoe hereby in powered to put in
Execucon all those things that are to bee done and performed
according to the said Reporte by and on the parte and behalfe of
this Hospitall both with relacon to buildings and otherwise and
Mr: Treasurer to pay what the charged of the same shall amount
unto

Whereas William Waterman our Tennant of an house
which was burnt downe in the fire which happened in 8th: Thomas
parish in June last by Lease where in 37 yeares was to come Att
Midsomer last at the yearely rent of 20s: and Two shillings for
Tithes It is Ordered according to the Reporte of the Comittee that
in considracon of his Surrender of the said Lease and new building
with brick and otherwise according to the Rules prescribed in relacon
to those houses att the last Court, there shalbee a new Lease made of
the Prmisses for One and Fifty yeares from Midsomer aforesaid
aforesaid Rent Twenty Shillings and Two Shillings Tith
