Jurin had been very dilligent and Spent much time in makeing observacons
himselfe, and causeing others to be made at London Bridge , and at the
Place designed for the new Bridge , in Order to shew the prejudiciall
Consequences of such New Bridge.

Mr. Treasurers Accompt for the yeare ending at Lady day last 1721:
haveing been duly Examined and Audited was presented approved
an allowed.

Subscriptions being Recomended by Mr. Trear towards the Extra-
-ordinary Charge of the Hospitall by the Increase of Patients, Severall of
the Governors now present Subscribed liberally towards the Same.

The Report from the Grand Committee of their Proceedings
since the Generall Court held he 10th: of May last was Read, and is as
followeth.

To the Rt. Worshpll: Etc. Put the Report.

And the acknowl Report being taken into Consideration
Which Report,was well liked and approved by this Court, and ordered to be
Observed and performed, and Entred in the Reportory of the Reportory of
the proceedings of this Court: And as to the Gross Misbehaviour of Mr.
Waterman one of our Governors set forth in the said Report. It is ordered
That his Name be Imediately here in Court Expunged out of the Book
kept of the Names of the Governors of this Hospitall, And the Same
was accordingly Expunged by the Clerke out of the Said Booke in
Open Court.

And as to the Matter menconed in the said Report relateing to the
Churchyard or Burying Ground in t. Thomas's: Upon the Gates whereof
Some of the Parishioners have affixed a Padlock to hinder ye Governors
of this Hospitall from makeing use of the said Ground for Burying of
the Officers and Patients dyeing in this Hospitall; Altho' there is an
Undoubted and Incontestable Right in the Governors so to doe, without
paying any Fees for the Same, The Church and Churchyard being Granted
and appropriated to the said Governors and their Successors for ever,
in the Nature of a Free Chappell in the Strictest Sence, and not Subject
to any Visitacon, Archiepiscopall, Episcopall, Archidiaconall or
Diaconall whatsoever; It is Ordered That the Gates and Fence of the
said Ground be taken downe, and the Ground laid Open as formerly
and made use of for the Buryalls of the Officers and Patients dyeing
in this Hospitall without paying an Fees to the said Parishioners
untill further Order: And Mr. Treasurer is desired to see this Order
put in Execucon.

And as to the Gratuityes menconed in the said Report for Dr
Plumtree, Mr Tanner, and our Steward, the same were ordered to be
paid
