as Bill inclosed for £60..1..4 which is accepted, and when
paid shall be placed to yr. Acct. in Discharge of the year's
Rent due at Michs last

Memd. Wrote to Mr Wankford of Rickmansworth

That his Rent was in Arrear two Yrs. at Chrmas last
And that he had faild of his Promise to Mr. Treasurer of making
a Paymt. soon after Michs last And that he had not answer'd
my Letter of 26th Sepr. last relating to the tumbling Bay
At the same time wrote to Mr Smith of Bumpstead

That his Rent was two yrs. in Arrear at Michs last
and that if he did not lessen it very soon, it would be laid
before the Committee

Wrote to Mr. Chatbourn of Hastingleigh

That Mr Treasurer had paid the £2..6..6 for the 93 P ft
of Beech sold to Mr Swaine in Novr. last at 6 P ft and that
Mr. Chatbourn was to take the Money of Mr Swaine

Sr.
Yrs. of yesterday came to hand this day, advising of yr. having
recd. on Wednesday last of Gregory £26. in Money Taxes & Quit rent
when you remit the Money, please to send at the same time proper
Recets. of the Tax & Quit rent, without which they will not be allow'd
him as I wrote you inmya former Letter you are desired to
take care that the Tents keep their promised times of paymts.
