Mr. Barringer

Sr.

I [..]

I have sent inclosed, according to your desire, a Recet. for the year's
Rent Gregory paid last, which I suppose you reckor paid up to
Ladyday 1748. but as the Money remitted hath, till lately can
placed to the Acct. of both the Tenants, so that it doth not appear
whatwhichis the exact Sum due from each, I have omitted in the
Rect. the Quarter to which his last Rent may perhaps answer
till I hear from you, how much each of them is to be charged by
your Account And must desire you to send me Reccd: for the
Land tax and Quit Rents allow'd Gregory in the last Rent which
indeed you mention in your Letter as accots. to £5.4.- and
£1.14 - without sending any Rects. notwithstanding my
frequently importuning you formerly on the same Accounts, And
assuring you when I was at your house in Sepr. 1749 that no
Deductions would be allowed here without Rccts

I am likewise to repeat to you That the Gentlemen insist
on Gregory's sending up the ten Pounds of Taylor's which
he has in his handsconcerning which I have wrote
to Gregory and Taylor by this same Conveyance

To Mr Joseph Barringer< no role > at Eltisley near Caxton Cambs
