Above a years ago the Treasurer and some of the Govrs. of
Sr. Thomas's Hospital took as View of the Nusance complain'd of by
their Tents. Mr. Augustine Russell occasion'd by yr. erecting & continuing
to use your Mustard MillAt that time they were well satisfied
of the Justness of the Complaint and upon your being applied to you
promised to redress the Grievance in a FartnightBut in this you
have failedMr. Russell has lost his Tents. on this very Accots.
it does great Dammage to his House by shaking the Walls and
must In time demolisk them And to this must be added as Trespass
which you have likewise been guilty of insfixing as Beam into
& cutting away part of the Wall which belongs to the Hospl. Estate
for the Convenience of working yr. Mill

The Govrs. think themselves obliged in Justice to their Tents. to see him
relieved against this very great InjuryI therefore by Order of the
Grand Commee ans to acquaint You that unless you forthwith remove
yr. Mill and make Mr. Russell Satisfaction for the Loss of his
Tents. you will be proceeded against as the Law directs

The Collector of the Tyths for Dr Waterland of the Parish of
Sr . Bennet Finch< no role > has very lately made as Demand of ten years due at
Chrmas last for one of those Houses in Finch Lane lately hold by you
of this Hospl. which House was empty so many years (& is still empty)
at 4s P Qur and of one Qur due at the same time for the other House
at 5s..6d P Ear - As the above Houses were liable to these Charges during
the Terms of your Lease The Govrs. have order'd that you should have
Notice of the same not doubting but if proper Application
had been made to you This Demand had been discharged
