Unless his Arrears of Rent are paid Off in a very short time
I shall write to him about it by this Post & forbid him cutting
any more Wood on the FarmeThe Gentlemen are of Opinion
that Gregory cannot want all the Barnes on the two Farmes,
but will defergivingtheir Orders for pulling any down till
they hear what yr. Opinion is I have sent you inclosed Proper
Rents. for You to sign for the years Quit rents to Michs 1748, for
the 4 Years Salary alld. you to Laday 1746 and for Yr. Charges in
remitting the Rents in the years 1746. 47 & 48 for Postage of
Letters You will likewise find inclosed a true Acct. of what Rent
is due from the Tents. to Laday last, the former Acct. which I
sent you on 28th Janry. 1748 being made on a Supposition that the
Tents. had paid you the 6 Years Salary for which I there give them
Credit, so that you will now find the Tents. to be in arrear £12..-
more than appears in that first Acct. of the Justness of which
Charge you may easily Satisfy them, by looking over your own
Accts.

I reced on Saturday last from Mr. Barringer a Year's
Rent on Yr. Accot. And am to acquaint you that the Gentlemen
Yr. Landlords are come to a Resolution to continue You in the
Collage on this Condition only That you pay off very soon your
Arrrs. of Rent, or else give good Security for the paymt. of it
I am likewise to charge you not to call any more Wood on
the Farme I shall expect an Answer from you in a
short time And
