I apprehend that you are not sensible what
Right the Governors of St. Thomas Hospital have to the Lights
& a Door way into Smiths Alley which I apprehend your Building
will Incorrupt should be glad to meet your Surveyor in order
to settle what is proper to be done before you proceed too far in
your design.

Mr. Treasurer reced Your's of the 10th. inst. And has
order'd me to acquaint you that He does not at this time insist
on it that Mr. Swaine shall not cutt that Part of Richard's
Wood which he intended for want of as Year's growth but
expects for the future that he observes the Covenants
of his Leafe Mr. Treasurer however approves of your
for bidding Mr. Sankey from topping or lopping any more
Pollards than according to the Terms of his Leafe he can
Justifie.

It is now near 3 Weeks beyond the time on which
you promised me to pay a Year's Rent without fail but since You
have not Kept Yr. word I am to acquaint You that the Govrs. are greatly
offended And will soon determine to send me down against to recover
the Rent you own them by such Methods as the Law allows, the
Consequence of which I reed not acquaint you with, but hope you
will for yr. own Sake Prevent by paying it forthwith
