Mr Swaine
Yrs. of the 7th. inst. with Notice of Yr. Intention to fell
that further Cant of Gilln ask Wood came this day, & Mr. Treasr. Lesires
You will send to Mr. Thos. Braybrook< no role > as Carpenter of Wye , whom
Mr. Knock recommended last Year to be Woodreve in his stead, and
let him [..] mark such Stones & Wavers & others growing Timber
Trees as are proper to be left standing and according to the Customer
of the County, and that he is to send up an Account of what he does
for the Hospl. directed to Anthony Walburge< no role > Esqr . Treasr . of
St. Thomas Hospl .

I reced Yrs. of 10th. inst. and an to acquaint you
that unless the Tenants at Eltisley pay a Years Rent immediately
You are to distreice this Goods & Chattels without Delay

Mr. Swaine
The Bill on Messrs. Grant & Barlow for £43,,1,,4
is Paid And the £43 placed to Yr. Accot. in discharge of the half Years
Rent due at Michs 1747 Mr. Braybrook in his Lr. of 26 Novr. last
acquaints Mr. Treasr. that on the 17th. he had mark'd [..] out for Your
use two Tonn of Oak Timber But as he did it without Orders &
without Your applying for any, Mr. Treasr. would know how so great a
Quantity came to be mark'd out without Leave, & for what pticular
Repairs it is wanted

Sr.
Mr. Treasr. having laid before the Gd. Commee Mr. Tissington's Propo=
sal of taking the Coal Mines at Tibshelfe in Derbys belonging to this Hospital
has ordered me to acquaint You Sr. that the Gent are of Opinion that it is not
for the Jno. of the Hospl. to enter into any Agreemt. of that Kind for the present
