By the above Accts: You will perceive as Deficiency of £11,,- to
make good 2 Years Rent; whereas there were five Years due at
Laday 1747 the remainder of which the Gentlemen think a great deal too much
to be left in any Tents. hands, & what a [..] person of Mr. Barringer's
Ability might have prevented, had he been in earnest.

since from a person unknown Informing him of a very great Misbe-
haviour in Thos: Hancock< no role >

that by his Leave on Mr. Greaves had made a Road over the Hospital
Ground and that Hancock had fell some score pounds worth of
Timber off the Estate & continued so to doAn Affair of such
consequence requiring a strict Examination, occasions you the present
Trouble by the Treasurers Directions to desire you woud Inform
your self how far the charge is true and that you woud favour me with
a Letter on the subject as soon as you can with convenience
