Justices of the peace in and for the
County of Middlesex in General Quarter
Session of the peace for the said County
assembled

The Humble petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the parish of Cholsey by Mistake
in the Order of Removal spelt Choseley , in the County of
Berks

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order of Removal a pass Warrant
under the hands and Seals of John Scott< no role > & [..]
two of his Majestys Justices of the peace acting in and for
the County of Middlesex one whereof being of the Quorum
bearing date the Second day of September 1799, Ann
Saunders
< no role > the Wife of John Saunders< no role > by the name of
Ann Saunders< no role > and their three Children name by William< no role >
aged Seven years, Martha< no role > aged three years, and
John< no role > Aged Eight months were removed and conveyed
from and out of the parish of Kensington in the
County of Middlesex and delivered to your petitioners
being the Church wardens and Overseers of the poor
of the parish of Chelsey in the said County of Berks
the said Justices adjudging that the place of the last
legal settlement of the said Ann and William Martha
& John her Children was in the said parishprecinctof
Cholsey, in the said County of Berks, By which
said Order of Removal or pass Warrant, your
petitioners apprehend themselves to be aggreived

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
appeal against the said Order
