To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. John of Wapping , in the County
of Middlesex ; and to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Westham
in the County of Essex

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for
the said County of Middlesex , (one whereof being of the
Quorum,) by the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. John of Wapping , that Ann
Peacock
< no role > Widow
lately intruded and came into the said Parish of St. John of
Wapping , and islikely to become chargeable to the same:
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same
to be true; and do also adjudge, that the last legal Set-
tlement of the said Ann Peacock< no role >
is in the said Parish of Westham in the
said County of Essex

We do therefore require you, the said Church wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St.
John of Wapping , or some or one of you, to remove and
convey the said Ann Peacock< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. John of Wapping ,
to the said Parish of Westham
and her to deliver, (together with this our Order, or a true
Copy hereof,) unto the Church wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the said Parish of Westham
or to some or one of them, who are hereby required to
receive and provide for her according in Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals, the 18th Day of June
in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and
ninety nine
