In February Sessions last the Appellants who is a Pawnbroker in Sain 2 John Street try'd an Appeal agaisnt a Conviction
from the Magistrates of the Public office Worship Street (on which appeal you was
retained for Respondent the Offence was for taking two Months Interest for a Month
and Six Days at was then understood the Conviction was Confirmed, it afterwards
appeared that on the last day of that Session Appellant moved the Court to stay proceeding
till next Sessions in which time should be able to produce fresh Matter that there was
no double would induce the Magistrates to alter their opinion, the next Sessions
pass'd over without Appellant taking any farther Notice,and to this time have [..]
neglected to pay the him (with Costs of any allowed)

It is therefore wished you would move the Court to come to a sinal
decision on the Business, and Appellant having given much unnessary Trouble and
likewise Expence it is hoped the Court will allow ample Costs

The Appellant says the Court have not come to any decision
