Middlesex

At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden in and for the County of Middlesex
at the Session House for the said County by Adjournment
on Thursday the Nineteenth day of February in the
Thirty fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the third King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor the the Parish
of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the Liberty of Westminster in the
said County have at this present Session exhibited their Petition and
Appeal settingforth that by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands & Seals of A Graham and R Clark Esquires two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex aforsaid
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty sixth
day of January last Sarah Hardy< no role > was removed and coveyed from
and out of the Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex aforesaid to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent
Garden as the Place of her last Legal Settlement whereby the
Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Whereupon at the
Request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the benefit of
their said Appeal should be saved unto them and the hearing and
determining thereof be and the same it hereby adjourned until
the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden in and
for this County And on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given
unto the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish
of Saint James at Clerkenwell they and all Persons concerned [..]
attend the Court at the Session House aforesaid on Thursday the
sixteenth day of April next at the hour of Nine in the Forenoon
of the same day to hear & abide the Judgement and Determination
of the said Court touching the said Appeal.
