Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex at their Quarter Session Assembled on
Monday the 14th. day of July 1794

The Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Staining London

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the hand and
Soul of P. Colqhoun and Wm. Browne< no role > & Esquires Two of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace for the County of Middlesex bearing date the Thirtieth day of June last Wm< no role > .. aged
six years and upwards the Illigitimate Child of Sarah Jones< no role > wife of Richard Jones< no role >
(late Sarah Jackson< no role > Singlewoman ) was removed and Conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the said County to the said Parish of Saint Mary
Staining London as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Illigitimate Child

That your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved by such Order of Remove
and therefore pray your Worships to examine
into hear and determine the circumstances
of the Birth and settlement of the said
Illigitimate Child And that the said Order
of Removal of the said P. Colquhoun and
Wm. Browne< no role > may be Quashed and that a
day may be appointed in this present Session
for hearing and determining this Appeal
