The Examination of Berry James Rowswell< no role > taken this
twenty Sixth day of November 1791 before me John Staples< no role >
Esquire Core of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County Who being on his Oath Saith that
about Eleven Years ago he was bound Apprentice for the
term of Seven Year to Mr. Roger Alderson< no role > of Silver
Street in the Town of New castle Master Mariner that he
served his said Master two Years of the said Term and
then Run away and further on his Oath Saith that
about Two Months of before he half his said Master he Lodged
on board the Ship called the Dolphin Lying at North Sheilds in the County
of Northumberland for the Space of Eight Weeks at one time
and that he hath done no Act to gain a Settlement is
any other Parish or place
