in the County of a Middlesex
Carpenter
to learn his Art and with him after the manner of an Apprentice to Serve from the Day of the Date of
[..] Presentsunto the full end and Term of Seven
Years from thence next following to be fully compleat and ended during which Term the said Apprentice
the said Richard Forstor faith fully shall or will serve his Sevrets keep his lawfull Commands
every when [..] do he shall do no Damage to his said Master nor see it to be done of others
out to his power shall let or forthwith owe Notice to his said Master of the same The Goods of her
said Master shall not Waste nor the same without Licence of his to any give or Lend
Hurt to his said Master he shall not do cause or procure to be done he shall neither buy
nor Sell without his Master's Licence Nor from the Service of his said Master
Day or Night absent him Self during all the said Term And the said Richard Forster< no role >
for and in Consideration of Ten Pounds to him in Hand
paid at and afore the Sealing and Delivery hereof
Doth hereby for himself his Executors Administrators and Assigns Covenant promise and Agree to
and with the said Mary Gibson< no role >
her Executors Administrators and Assigns that he
the said Richard Forster< no role >
shall and will Teach and Instruct or cause to be taught and
Intruded in the best way and manner that he can the said Apprentice in the Art or Trade
of a Carpenter which he now Useth and shall find unto the said Apprentice
good and sufficient Diet and Lodging only
And for the true performance of all and every the said Covenants and Agreements each of the said Parties
bindeth himself Unto the other firmly by these Presents In Witness where of the said Parties
to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably Set their Hands and Seals the Fourth
day of September in the ThirteenthYear of the Regin of our Sovereign
Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland
King Defender of the Faith Etc and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Ninety
Note The Indenture Covenant Article or Contract must bear Date
the Day it is Exeaded and what Money or other Thing is given or Contracted for
with the Clerk or Apprentice must be Inserted in Words at Length and
the Duly paid to the Stamp Office
if in London or within the Weekly
Bills of Mortality within One Month after the Execution and if
in the County and out of the said Bills of Mortality within Two Months
to a Distributor of the Stamps or his Substitute otherwise the Indenture
will be Void the Master or Mistress forfeit Fifty Pounds and another
Penalty and the Apprentice be Disabled to follow his Trade or be made Free
Sealed and Delivered (being first duly stampt)
