also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County
Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Pancras
in the said County Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal
setting forth that by Virtue of Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of

two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
twenty fourth day of August last Sarah Meriott< no role >
the Wife of Thomas Merriott< no role >
who is
gone from her and Hannah < no role >
their daughter aged Seventeen Months were removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Marylebone
in the said County to
the said Parish of Saint Pancras
as the Place of their last legal Settlement whereby the
Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal and
what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses on and concerning the Premises It is
Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said Pass
Warrant or Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside and It is
further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of Saint Pancras do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Sarah Merriott< no role >
and
her said daughter together with a Copy of this Order unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Marylebone
who are hereby required to receive and
provide for the said Sarah Meriott and her said daughter until they can free themselves
from the charge thereof by due course of Law.
