MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County,()
on Tuesdaythe SiathDay of Mayin the
Twenty EighthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , Richard Taylor< no role > , Edward Ready< no role > ,
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Kensington in the
said County Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That
by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of Mich. Downs< no role >
Esquire and James Fielding< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace acting in and for the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the said County dated the Eleventh day of April last Sarah
Walker
< no role > alias Jefferson< no role > was removed from the parish of Saint James Westminster in the said County
to the said parish of Kensington as the place of the last legal settlement of her the said Sarah
Walker
< no role > alias Jefferson whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon
hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respection Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the
promises It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said
Pass Warrant or Order of Removal of the said two Justices is hereby Vacated and oct aside And
it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish
of Kensington do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Sarah Wather alias Tefferon
together with a Copy of this Order unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of Saint James Westminster who are hereby required to receive and provide for the said
Sarah Wather alias Tefferson until they can free themselves from the charge thereof by due course
of Law And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of Saint James Westminster do forthwith pay or course to be paid unto the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Hensington the Sum of Ten Shillings for
their Charges and expences in relieving and maintaining the said Sarah Walker< no role > alias
Jefferson Since her said Removal.
