Stephen Murrell< no role > of Frith Street in the Parish of Saint Ann
on the City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Coache
Man Maketh oath and Saith that he was bound Over in a Recognizance
at the Rotations Office in Litchfield Street in the Parish aforesaid to Prosecute
the said Robert Barlow< no role > for felony that this Deponent and Witnesses
accordingly did attend the Court & Preferred at Bill against the said
Robert Barlow< no role > -on Thursday the twenty Sixth day of October last which was returned by the Grand
Jury at True Bill And this Deponent further on his Oath saith
that he did with His Witnesses attend the Court at the Old Bailey
in Order to Prosecute the Prisoner, which he was told he should
have done by Some person whose Name he did not know but was
Informed that he was [..] an Officer in this Court, by which means he
was missled And for want of having a Sufficient
knowledge how to Act in any Prosecution of this Sort. And this
Deponent further on his oath saith that he did not neglect to
Prosecute the said Barlow from any Motive of lenity but merely from
the Reasons above Stated.
