To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter
Session of the Peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square in the said County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of Mich Down< no role > [..] and Wm. Gowan< no role > Esquires two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for the City
and Liberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 15th. day of december 1784 Catharine
Rowland
< no role > Widow of Michael Rowland was removed
and conveyed from the Parish of St. James within the
said Liberty of Westminster in the said County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square as the place of her last legal Settlement whereby
your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and
Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court
that the benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto
them until the next General Session of the Peace
to be holden for the said County of Middlesex
and that all Persons Concerned may then attend
to hear and abide the judgement and determination
of the same Court touching the said Appeal.
