To the Constable of the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate , in
the County of Middlesex , or the Headborough there: And also
to the Contractor employed for the passing and conveying of
Rogues and Vagabonds within the said County; and to all
Constables and other Officers whom it may concern, to receive
and convey; and to the Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, or
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Dartford
in the County of Rent
or either of them to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Ann Clement< no role > (the wife of James Clement< no role > who is
gone away troubles to Places unknown) was
apprehended in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate , aforesaid, as a Vagabond
Videlicit Wamlring abroad & begging there
together with her child & lawful Issue Sarah Clement< no role > Aged Six 111 outer

and upon Examination of the said Ann Clement taken
before me in Writing, and upon Oath; which Examination is hereunto annexed,
it doth appear that her last legal Settlement is at the Parish of Dartford in the
County of Rent aforesaid: These are therefore to require you the said
Constable or other Officer to convey the said Ann Clement & her said Child
to the House of Correction at Clerkenwell , from
whence the said Controversies to convey them
to the Parish of St Saviour in Sowter warke
in the County of Surrey that being the first Parish in the next
Precinct, through which they ought to pass in the direct Way to the said Parish
of Dartford to which Parish they are
to be sent and to deliver them to the Constable, or other Officer of such Parish
in such next Precinct: together with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination
of the said Ann Clement taking his Receipt for the same: And
the laid Ann Clement & her sd Child are to be thence
conveyed on in the like Manner to the said Parish of Dartford
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the
Poor of the same Parish, to be there provided for according to Law. And you the
said Church-warden. Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the Poor are hereby required
to receive the said Person and provide for them as aforesaid. Given under my
Hand and Seal this ninth Day of August1783
