Having received a Letter from Mr.
Secretary Townshend expressing his Majestys Concern at the
frequent Robberies and Disorders of late committed, and recommending
it in his Majesty Name to the Justices of the Peace to employ
their Care and Vigilance in preventing and suppressing the
same, and desiring me to acquaint the Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex with his Majesty's pleased [..]
herein.

I desire you will be pleased to issue out the usual
Notices for a Meeting of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
acting in the said County to be held on Friday next the 1st:
Day of November at 10 o'Clock in the Forenoon at the
County Sessons House, to take into Consideration the said
Letter and to Concert such Measures as shall be necessary
to carry effectually into Execution the several Matters
therein recommended.
