Sir
We have received the honour of your Letter of this
Date, acquainting us, that your Sessions being now ended,
you Cannot, as a Single Justice, take any Steps, contrary to
the [..] tion of the Session upon the Matter concerning which
we have had occasion to trouble you.
In this Situation tho' we are in no ways Convinced
by your [..] roning on the Subject, that under all the Circumstances
of the Care, The Own of Securing the Prisons in question,
ought the fath upon us, we shall nevertheless he induced
by our regard to the public safety, to take such measurer
for their Security, on this occasion, as may appear to us
necessary and proper.
Permit us, at the same time, to assures you, that a
difference of opinions, on this subject cannot lessen the most
sincere personal regard with which we have the honour to
remain
