Pedestals and Steps in the Centre, and the Curb to the Area, to be
of Portland Stone.

The Other Fronts.All Such Parts of the other three Fronts,
as are described in the Elevations to be of Stone, to be of Portland .
Stone.

Internal Parts.The Columns in Front of the Court, the prin-
cipal Stairs and those from the Hall to the Court, and the Pavement
of the Ground-Floor, to be of Portland Stone.All Steps ascending
to and descending from the Ground-Floor, intended to be of Stone,
as also the back Stairs to the principal Storey from the Ground-Floor,
to be of Moor Stone, or (intended to be paved with Stone) to be paved
with Purbeck.

CARPENTER.
In the naked Framing of the Floors, and Truss Partitions.
All the Beams, Girders and Wall-Plates, Prick-Posts, Struts
and Braces, principal Rafters, principal Ribs of the Cieling of the
Court-Room, and principal Purlins of the domical Roof, to be of
British Oak. All the rest of the naked Framing, the Ground Joists,
and Bond Timber, to be of the best Memel or Dantzick Fir. All
Boarding under Paving, States, and Lead to be of yellow Deal; proper
Centring to be fixed where necessary.

JOINER.
All the Floors, Doors, Architraves, Shutters, Linings, Sur-Bases,
Bases an Plinths, and all the Finishing, to be of the best, found,
dry yellow Deal, free from Sap or Shakes. The Frames to the
Windows in the Ground and Principal Floors of the East Front to
be Cased with Wainscot, with Oak sunk Sills, Wainscot Pulley-
Pieces, Beades and parting Slips, All the other Frames to the Win-
dows to be cased with Deal, with Oak sunk Sills, Wainscot Pulley-
Pieces, inside Beades and parting Slips. All the Sashes to be of right
Wainscot. The Frames to Lights and Doors, and the Doors of the
Bail-Dock, and the Lights of the Great Hall , to be of Oak. The
Stairs from the Ground-Floor to the Court, and from the Court to the
Galleries, to be of Wainscot.

PLUMBER.
The Gutters, Flashes, and Dome, to be covered with Lead of
eight Pounds to the Foot. The Hips and Ridges of the Several Roofs
to be covered with Lead of seven Pounds to the Foot ; and Rain and
Service Pipes in Substance according to their Bore.

SLATER.
To cover all the Roofs with the best Westmoreland States, to be
laid upon Boards with Copper Nails.
