SIR,
HAVING received a Letter from One of His
Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, signifying His Majesty's
Commands, and acquainting me that as it is or the greatest Im-
portance there should be no tumultuous Assemblies on Mon-
day next, the Day on which both Houses of Parliament meet
again, and requiring me forthwith to appoint a Meeting of
the Civil Magistrates of the County of MIDDLESEX
and of the
City and Liberty of WESTMINSTER
to consult on the most proper
Means to prevent any Riot or Disturbance on that Day, and to
secure free Access to Parliament ; I have appointed a Meeting of
all the said Magistrates to be held for that Purpose on Saturday
next the 17th Instant at the
Guildhall
in King's Street
West-
minster
, at 12 o' Clock at Noon precisely, where I hope you will
give your Attendance and Assistance.
