The Humble PETITION of
John Sheppard< no role > a Prisoner
in the said Prison

SHEWETH,


THAT your Petitioner, on the Twenty-eighth Day of
April, in the Year of Our Lord 1774, was actually a
Prisoner for Debt, confined in the said Prison, and hath
continued so ever since, and is willing in all Things to
conform himself to the Directions of an Act of Parliament
made in the Fourteenth Year of th Reign of his present
Majesty King GEORGE III. intituled, An Act for the Relief
of Insolvent Debtors, and for the Relief of Bankrupts in certain
Cases, to the Benefit of which your Petitioner conceives to
is entitled.

That the annexed Schedule (to be sworn unto by me, at
the next General or Quarter Session, or any Adjournment
thereof) contains a full and true Account of all your Peti-
tioner's Real and Personal Estate s of every Kind and Nature
whatsoever, in Possession, Reversion, Remainder or Expec-
tancy, excepting Wearing Apparel, Bedding for himself and
Family, Working Tools, and necessary Implements for h is
Occupation and Calling, a Sum of Money not exceeding Forty
Shillings, and those in the Whole, not exceeding the Value
of Twenty Pounds.

Your Petitioner, therefore, humbly prays your wor-
ship to grant your Warrant directed to the Keeper
of the said Prison to bring your Peti-
tioner, and the Warrant or Warrants of Detainer,
together with the Copy or Copies of the Cause
o [..] Causes, with which your Petitioner is charged
in his said Custody before his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace at the General or Quarter Session
of the Peace to be holden in and for the said
County or any Adjournment
thereof, which shall be held next after the Ex-
piration of Ten Days from the Date hereof, pur-
suant to the Tenor and Direction of the said Act of
Parliment.

And your Petitioner, as in Duty bound, shall ever Pray, Etc.
