The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Kingston upon Thames
in the County of Surry

Sheweth

that by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals of
Henry Lambe< no role > and J Miller Esqrs . two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the Thirteenth day of December one
Thousand seven hundred an seventy three John Butler< no role > This name instance is in set 219. and
Mary < no role > his
Wife together with their three Children Namely
then Eldest a Daughter named Mary < no role > Aged about four [..]
the second a Daughter Named Sarah < no role > Aged Two years [..]
Third a Son named John < no role > This name instance is in set 219. aged about seven weeks
were removed from the Hamlett of Hammersmith in the
Parish of Fulham in the said County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of Kingston upon Thames in the said County
of Surry as the Place of their last legal Settlement whereby
your petitioners conceiving themselves agrieved humbly
appeal there from

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray your
Worships that a day may be appointed in
this present Session for hearing and determining
of the said appeal and to make such order in the
premises as to your Worships shall seem Meet
And your Petitioners shall ever pray
