of Middlesex at Hicks-Hall in Saint John Street
in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday
the thirteenth day of January in the fourteenth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
third King of great Britain Etc Before Sir John

their fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace within [..] the said County
and also to hear and determine divers felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanors committed
within the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex Have at this present
Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal Settingforth That by an Order of
Removal under the hands and Seals of Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex (Vizt.) Sir John Fielding< no role > Knight and Thos. Kynaston< no role >
Esquire dated the 14th day of December last Elizabeth Bridgen< no role > This name instance is in set 4524393. Single Woman
Aged about 23 Years and Ann < no role > her female Bastard Child Aged four months
was removed from the Parish of Saint Clements Danes in the County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell aforesaid as the Place of their last
legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves Aggrieved
Now upon hearing the said Petition and Appeal in the Presence and hearing
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Clement
Danes and they Consenting by their Councel to the Allowing of the said Appeal It
is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby Allowed and the said
Orderof Removala Pass Warrant of the said Two Justices is hereby Vacated and Setaside And it
is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell do forthwith Convey and deliver back the
said Elizabeth Bridgen< no role > and her said female Child Ann (together with a Copy of this
Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Clement Danes or to some or one of them who are hereby required to
Receive and Provide for the said Elizabeth Bridgen< no role > and her said Child until they
can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law
