of Mile End new Town
Widow
Saith
she was Standing at the Meeting House with Mrs. Tyler last
Tuesday and saw the Deceased lying or the Ground (as she thinks) with her
left hand over her HeadThat the shaft Horse
in a Cart there was Pist got to it when she first saw it
Two other Horses in the Cart had Passed it
That the Shaft Horse did not Touch it But the near
Wheel went over the side of her Head near the Ear
That the Driver was then in the Cart without any One by the
side of the HorsesThat the Horses were going
rather slow than fast only Walked and she never saw them
go so slowlyThat there was a Man at a Distance
Called out to the Driver to Stop before the Cart went over the
Child But whether the Driver heard or not Informant cannot
tellThat the Man was then further from the
Driver than InformantThat the Driver
went on and did not stop at all as she saw
That Informant saw him to the End of the Street which was
about an hundd. Yards But whether he knew what had
happenned to the Child or not Informant don't know
He never Turn'd his HeadAnd had his Face to the Horses
That Two Men (who she Knows not) run and Stop'd the Horse
That she knows not what is become of the Driver
nor does she know whose Cart and Horses they are
Nor the Name of the Driver
