Who being on Oath says that he is about 22 years of
Age, was born in Dublin and bred to the Sea was dischar-
ged from His Majesty's ship Senegal at Deptford in
February last says that Francis German< no role >

and Samuel Collins< no role >
now in custody were discharged from
the said ship at the said time says that Lawrence Sweet.
Man also in custody was with this informant on board
his Majesty's ship Rainbow, as was Thomas Brown< no role >

a Painter not yet taken says when he
was discharged the came to lodge at me Dermotts in Brick
Lane
Spitelfields a Barber where he continued until above
a Week since when he went to Chatham for a few Days then
returned when he met in Whitechapel
as he believes on
Saturday last the aforesaid Thomas Brown< no role >
at Armstrong
and Lawrence Sweetman< no role >
when the said Brown proposed
to this informant to go upon the Road and get Money,
says they went all together to a Public please oppositer
to the Goats Heads in Whitechapel
where some Painters that
knew Brown were drinking and drank several Pots
of Beer, that about 7 o' Clock they went from the said
House towards Highgate that in the said Road about 8
o'Clock as he believes they stopped a Man and Woman
in a one Horse Chaise them they robbed of a Silver Watch
and some Silver says that said Brown stopped the Chaise
that he this Informant held the horse while said Brown
and Sweetman took the Watch and Money says that
the said Watch was prawned the same Might by Sweetman
for a Guinea in a street near Red Lion Street
Whitechapel
says that after this Brown went home and he this Infor-
ment and Sweetman went to Gorman's Lodgings at [..]
