To Mr Christopher Blake< no role > of the Parish of
st James , Clerkenwell .

By Virtue of a Warrant, under the Hands and Seals of
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex , Acting within the Division of Finsbury, to me
directed; You are hereby summoned to be and appear person-
ally before the said Justices, and others their Fellows, at
their Special Session, to be holden at Hicks Hall , in St John
Street , on Tuesday next, the Sixth Day of November instant,
by Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon, to shew Cause why
the Penalty inflicted by Act of Parliament, for Neglect of
your Statute Work on the Highways of the said Parish, should
not be levied on you by Distress, and Sale of your Goods.
