of Cow Cross in ye. Parish of St. Sepulchre & William Meeson< no role >
of the same Place Cabinet Makers & Thomas Weston< no role >
Taylor of the Parish of St. Barthole [..] mew ye. Great
are beld and firmly bound to Joseph Smith< no role > & Samuel Reckster< no role >
Church-Wardens. of the Parish of St. Sepulchre in the County
of Middlesex in the Sum of Forty Pounds
of good and lawful Money of Great-Britain, to be paid to them, or their certain
Attorney, Executors, Administrators or Assigns: For which Payment well and truly
to be made, We bind Ourselves and every one of Us by himself for the Whole and e-
very Part thereof, and the Heirs, Executors and Administrators of Us and every of
Us firmly by these Presents. Sealed with our Seals. Dated the 13th.
Day of March in the Fourth Year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of
Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith: And in the
Year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and [..] Sixty four

The Condition of this Obligation is Such, That if the above-bounden Joseph
Weston

either of them their or either oftheirtheir Heirs, Executors, Administrators,
and Assigns, do and Shall, from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, Acquit, Re-
lease, Discharge, save Harmless, and keep Indemnified, as well the abovenamed, Joseph
Smith
< no role > and Samuel Reckster Church-Wardens
of the abovesaid Parish, and the Overseers and Collectors for the Poor of the Said Parish,
which now are or hereafter shall be, for the Time being, and every of them, as also all
the Inhabitants and Parishioners of the Said Parish, and every of them, of and from all
manner of Rates, Costs, Charges, and Expences, which Shall or may in any manner
arise, happen, come, grow, or be imposed upon them, or any of them, touching or
concerning a Male Bastard Child, born on the Body of Ann Farnham
in the [..] Workhouse in
in the Parish of St. Sepulchre
of which said Male Bastard Child the said [..] Ann Farnham< no role >
hath sworn the said Joseph Weston< no role > to be the Father: And also
shall and will, when they, or any of them, Shall be thereunto required by any of the Pa-
rish Officers of the Parish of St. Sepulchre aforesaid
for the Time being, appear before a Justice of the Peace, and then and there, upon
Oath before such Justice, declare how the said Male Bastard Child is provided for
and maintained, or in Case of its Death, the Time and Place of its Burial: Then this
Obligation to be void and of none. Effect, otherwise to be and remain in full Force and
Virtue.
