at their General Session of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Catherine Cree
Church otherwise ChristChurch London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrant under the Handsand Seals of
Christopher Scott< no role > Esquire and Robert Pell< no role > Esquire two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace (whereof one is of the Quorum) for the
County of Middlesex aforesaid bearing date the 25th. day
of May One Thousand seven hundred and sixty two, Mary
Baker
< no role > This name instance is in set 426. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . Singlewoman with her Female Child named Elizabeth< no role > and
aged Eleven weeks born of her Body a Bastard our of lawfull
matrimony was removed from the Parish of Saint Mary
Whitechappel in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish
of Saint Catherine Cree Church otherwise Christ Church London as
the Place of the last Legal Settlement of the said Mary Baker< no role > and also her said Child for
Nurture.

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Warrant or order of
the said two Justices Do therefore humbly
appeal to this Court against the same Praying
such Relief in the Premises as to this Court
shall seem meet

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
