And it is recommended by the Court to
the said James Sturges Adams< no role > , to be parti-
cularly careful in detecting any Vagabond
under his Care who shall have been punished
and passed as a Vagabond for Offences com-
mitted in the County. And upon such De-
tection the said James Sturges Adams< no role > , instead
of conveying such Vagabonds as directed by
the Order he is to detain such Vagabond,
and apply to the committing Magistrate for
a Warrant of Detainer against such Vaga-
bond as an incorrigible Rogue of which
Proceeding the said James Sturges Adams< no role >
do at the next Sessions acquaint the Court.

And this Court do agree with the Senti-
ments of the said Committee, that a proper
Method of laying before this Court, an an-
nual State of the Expence this County is put
to upon the Article of Vagabond would pre-
vent many Irregularities.

Ordered. That the Treasurer of this County
do provide a Book, and therein regularly en-
ter the Account relating to Vagabonds, Etc. in
the Method pointed out in the 20th Article
of the Report of the said Committee, and
present Yearly an Abstract of such Account to
this Court at the Time; and in the Man-
ner pointed out by the said Article; and this
Court will assign a proper Recompence to
the Treasurer for his extraordinary Trouble.
Ordered.

Ordered. That the Clerk of the Peace do di-
rect the High Constables of this County to
give Notice to the several Petty Constables ,
that they for the future, are to deliver to the
Treasurer of this County, all such Orders for
Conveying, and Orders for Rewards for ap-
prehending Vagabonds, as shall be in their
Hand twice every Year at least, viz. at April
and October Quarter Sessions. And that the
High Constables and Contractor do the same,
and that the Treasurer do not receive into
his Account any Orders not delivered at the
Times above-mentioned, without Special
Order of the Court.

Ordered. That the Clerk of the Peace , do
on the first Day of next December Sessions,
present to this Court all such Duplicates of
Passes and Examinations as shall be returned
to Sessions from October. Sessions last, to
October Sessions next. And that such Dup-
licates be referred to, be checked with the
Orders for Rewards to the Committee,
which shall be appointed to audit, the Ac-
count of Vagabonds; and the same Method
be observed from Year to Year, untill this
Court shall otherwise order and direct.

And upon reading and considering the
10th. Aticle of the said Report, this Court
are of Opinion, that the apprehending Beg-
gars being the immediate Duty and Business
