Defender of the Faith etc To Edmund otherwise Edward Johnson< no role > Gentleman
Greeting We Command You Firmly Injoining You that laying aside all
Pretences And Excuses Whatsoever You be in Your proper person before our
Justices Assigned to Deliver our Goal of Newgate for our City of London of the
Prisoners therein being at Justice Hall in the Old Bailey in the Suburbs
of the City of London on Wednesday the Second day of July next at Eight
of the Clock in the Morning of the same day there to Testify the truth on our
Behalf against Richard Adcock< no role > otherwise Allcock< no role > for Felony
Whereof he will then and there be Indicted And this You are not to
Omit under the Penalty of One hundred Pounds to be Levied upon Your
Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements if You shall fail in the
Premisses Witness Sir Dudley Ryder< no role > Knight at Westminster the
thirtieth day of May in the Twenty Eighth year of our Reign
